I sent off the following email to Earnest Sewn last week and I am now waiting patiently to see how they respond. I have been tweeting a daily update.

I bought my first pair of  Earnest Sewn jean a week after Christmas at Harlow in Orange County. What a great fit! Comfortable. Tight in the right places. They quickly became my go-to jeans. Just as quickly they let me down.

I was at an open house here in San Diego last Sunday. While walking around the backyard there was a large step — a little more than twice a normal stair. I took a step up and my seam split from nuts to knee.

Thankfully I’m not a shy guy but standing there with my black boxer briefs on display to the real estate agent was a little out of my comfort zone. Attached you will find an image of the split.

I want me Earnest Sewn jeans back. These as you can see are beyond repair. How about sending a new pair my way?
